Description:
The Extended Daycare Program serves approximately 40 children in Kindergarten through 8th grade. From 3:15pm-6pm, Monday-Friday, the children are served a snack and given time to read and do homework. After homework, they participate in supervised indoor/outdoor recreational and enrichment activities.
Homework Support:
Every student in the Extended Daycare Program is given time to improve their reading skills, study and work on homework. Support is available from the after school staff and volunteers.
Enrichment Activities:
After homework, the Extended Daycare Program provides enrichment activities. These activities utilize the talents/hobbies brought in by staff and volunteers in the areas of art, dance, cooking, nutrition and sports. On Fridays and/or minimum days our children are involved in acts of service for our community.
