Marin Christian Academy was founded in 1979 as a ministry of New Life Christian Center, Novato, California.  The church and its parents launched the school when they recognized the need to impart a Christian worldview to their children in a supportive, loving atmosphere that would also uphold a high academic standard.

The school began with preschool through sixth grade.  In succeeding years, a grade was added to complete the Middle School in 1982-83. The school continued to grow and in 1989 Christian Life School received its full accreditation from ACSI. A new church facility was completed in August 1993, which housed Noah’s Ark Preschool, Marin Christian Academy (K-6) and Middle School (6-8).

The staff are experienced, credentialed teachers who are dedicated Christians. Mr. Christopher Mychajluk has held the position as school administrator since July of 2004.  He previously served for five years at Salinas Christian School as principal.  He has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration and Finance and is pursuing a Master’s degree in School Administration.  Mr. Mychajluk holds an ACSI Certificate.
